Garden Conservation Bel Air

This legendary 15-acre estate—once home to Victor Fleming and Clark Gable's horses—represents our most extensive conservation project. Beginning with the soil itself, we introduced worm castings to build biological health from the ground up, then trained existing staff in regenerative practices. The rose garden became a laboratory for organic methods, the vegetable garden a demonstration of permaculture principles, the vineyard a model for regenerative agriculture. Today the estate is completely organic, with every acre managed as a living system—one of California's great gardens elevated into one of its most ecologically sound.
